In a continuing effort to offer the work of accomplished American craftsmen, we're pleased to present this knife. At first glance, this seems like a simple knife, yet it has lots of style. The 5-1/4" x 1-1/4" high-carbon blade is meant for real work, and the maple handle shows lots of grain, being secured with 5 brass pins. The welted, heavy leather sheath sports a loop for belts up to 3". 9-1/4" overall length. Hand-forged from 1095 high-carbon steel and fire-etched for a "poor man's Damascus" look. The curly maple handle is shaped for comfort. The scales have a nice, dark stain with a durable oil finish, giving each knife a nice patina finish for an overall antiqued appearance.  Made in USA
