The inside measurement is 1 1/4". The overall outside dimensions are 1 3/4" wide 1 1/2" tall and about 3 /16" thick. There are many uses for these,but most of our customers use them on shooting pouches. These are made as one piece and do not have a split in the bar,which makes them strong
