Our Federal Civil War Cap Pouch is the 1855 Federal Issue Pattern from the Allegheny Arsenal, which became the 1861 model by C. S. Shield. This is the same pattern used by the Confederacy. Made of black dyed vegetable tanned leather, it features an interior lamb’s wool lining and brass stud closure with two belt loops.
