1855 Pattern Cartridge Box was used by both Union and Confederate troops with the .58 Caliber Springfield Rifle. Made of black dyed, vegetable tanned leather sewn with white thread, it includes inside flap with tool pocket, leather tab closure with brass finial, belt loops, and roller sling buckles like the originals.
