Leather was the blue jeans of the day, and they were worn almost universally from the mid-18th century up through the early 1800s. Made from soft tanned cow hide with historically styled pewter buttons, our breeches also feature period correct front pockets. The seat is cut extra full to provide adequate room when sitting, and the back is gusseted and laced for extra adjustment. Knee bands are incorporated as well, in case you prefer to replace the buttons with buckles.

These are high waisted, so, to get a true size before ordering, measure above your waist at the point where they will be worn. Typically, this is the size above your normal pant size. Available in Regular Length as well as Long Length for taller fellows.
