Unlined, smooth, heavy leather. 1-1/4" latchet. The Lexington is 5/8" deeper then the regular Concord. This shoe is especially wonderful for those reenactors who need space for orthotic inserts or insoles without compromising fit.  Due to the construction of 18th century style shoes, the manufacturer suggests ordering a ½ size longer and wider than you normally wear.
