Made without a buckle. Small loop on one end (shown) and a larger loop on the other end. The large loop end has a second leather keeper to help keep the sling in the desired position with friction. About 1-3/8" wide. In 1779 Bennett Cuthbertson wrote, "Slings without buckles are lightest, and most convenient to the Men at exercise..." Ours is patterned after the sling displayed on the Charleville at Brandywine State Park. Fits either a Brown Bess or Charleville.  We do not keep these in stock.  They are individually made to order so please allow extra time (2-3 weeks) for delivery.
