Make either of two common shirts for the pre-1840s Eastern hunter, commoner, or militiaman. Both were long and loose and worn over one or more under shirts. The pull-over sytle is from the F&I period. By the Revolution the open front version was popular. Note: Because there are over shirts, each size is approximately 2 sizes larger than a regular shirt.
