Polished, solid brass
The 1 1/4" buckle measures 2" x 1 1/2" on the outside, and will accept a 1 ΒΌ" strap. The 1 1/2" buckle will accept a 1 1/2" strap.
The buckle can be used for a belt or a musket sling. Tongue installed on the middle bar. These are period-correct buckles; the tongues are steel.
